Han Dian (UK) LTD. Product Launch Press Conference, Hosted by Greg Hands, Minister of DIT and Lord Faulkner.

On the 7th of September, fine Taiwanese food specialists HanDian will host a launch reception to mark their long anticipated entry into the UK culinary marketplace. Showcasing will be a range of delicious Taiwanese cuisine including  beef noodles, Taiwanese sausages, and braised pork sauce presented to the consumer in easy-to-prepare frozen packaging.

At the launch reception, in association with distribution partner Taipec Ltd, guests will be able to try this truly iconic dish for themselves, perhaps for the first time in London. The Head Chef of HanDian will also be on-hand to inspire and enliven the palates of guests with many other creative recipes using authentic Taiwanese ingredients.

Distinguished guests will include Mr. Cheng, Deputy representative of Taiwan Representative Office in UK who will be present to express his support for Han Dian’s UK launch and its collaboration with Taipec Limited.  Mr. Greg Hands, Minister of State for Trade Policy will also be present to welcome Han Dian as a new investor in the UK which the DIT has been working on for a long time. Lord Faulkner will also attend the event, he has visited Han Dian in Taiwan and was very kind to offer the enthusiastic encouragement to the new venture in progress.

Taiwanese cuisine has attracted a tremendous amount of interest in the UK in recent years with many Taiwanese dishes and snack foods continuing to gain well-deserved popularity.

To facilitate the immense opportunity in the marketplace, with great assistance from the Department for International Trade and London & Partners, HanDian has established its first UK production facility in London where it will produce the range of specially selected authentic Taiwanese foods for UK consumers hungry for a taste of Taiwanese cuisine.

Mr Chi Ming Chung, General Manager of HanDian Taiwan says “It has always been the mission of HanDian to promote Taiwanese food culture. Based in London, we aim at introducing Taiwanese foods to whole Europe”.
